"For the past three years whilst our son has been attending Nottingham University we have had several stays in Nottingham always at the Welbeck. After our 1st stay we were hooked. The level of cleanliness, particularly the bed linen and comfort of the mattresses is essential when staying away from home especially with health issues (Back Problems). All rooms have been exactly up to standards each time - Well done the Welbeck!"

"Staying overnight after an excellent meal in your roof top restaurant (a "post wedding" family/Friend celebration). All staff impressed us, polite, attentive and showed no sign of being under pressure but I am sure they were at times as our host was keen his guests would be given a high standard of hospitality. Breakfast was equally good, something for everyone - Thank you"

I would try here first if looking to stay in Nottingham centre again

"The room was spacious with a Queen size bed and good en-suite facility. A good size wall mounted TV with many sky channels. At £75 a night it was better value than the major low cost chains. A short walk to the city centre shopping/bar & restraunt area. I would try here first if looking to stay in Nottingham centre again. I did not use any other facilities."

Would definately use this hotel again

"The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. Good location, near clubs and shops, would definately use this hotel again and recommend to family and friends. Parking was quite expensive."

The bar/restaurant on the top floor is really lovely

"This is the 2nd time that I have stayed at this hotel. The bar/restaurant on the top floor is really lovely, nice plasma screen tellies in the room, and just a 3 minute walk to the tram stop, or less than 10 minutes to the main Market Square. Easy to miss when driving as is hidden on the left, so you can't see it until you are there, and it's on a one-way street. Really should have remembered this from last year..."

Great service from the staff

"I stay at the Welbeck 2 - 3 times a year as I get great service from the staff. This is despite cheap internet booking, added to which there is hotel subsidised NCP car parking next door and it is close to Rock City - perfect for me."

I would definitely go back

"We were put in room 107 right next to reception - expected to hear loads of noise but it was not that bad actually. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was HUGE & very comfortable. The staff were efficient and very friendly too.

It's hardly worth mentioning but I am going to anyway - my only gripe was that the shower did not get very hot, it was just warm. But if that's all that there is to complain about then that's good! All in all, I would recommend this hotel, and I would definitely go back. Good location too."
